Coming Home!

In case you all didn't know yet, we will be home tomorrow!
Well, we fly into Chicago, then drive up to Kalamazoo for the night. Unfortunately, we don't get there until around 8pm on Thursday. We will hit the East side of MI on Saturday.

Busy Weekend!

Friday we went to a comedy show. Saturday, we went downtown to Sing, Sing (a piano bar), with our new friends, Melissa & Warren, and Marco.

Just found out that she was from Michigan!

Michael's brother gave him a cool bowl from the Museum of Modern Art for his birthday. You can see it on the tv stand.

We had our first guests over. My sister, brother-in-law, and nephew came over for dinner on Sunday. Michael made a yummy pot roast.

Apex Trail & Enchanted Forest

About the Apex Trail: This trail is in the Jefferson County Open Space trail system, and the eastern access is in the City of Golden. The trail is a 7 mile in and out trip between Heritage Square and Lookout Mountain Drive, gaining 1500' elevation. This is a moderate hiking trail, and also a popular mountain bike area.

Halloween & Fall Jaxon pics

Jaxon was Spider-Man for Halloween. We took the baby trick-or-treating with my sister and Adam.

He thought you could eat this corn

Michael's Birthday-Palooza

Michael and his birthday cake

Michael and his guitar (he is sooooo excited)
I decided this year to do a little something every day for Michael the week leading up to his birthday. It was as small as getting his watch fixed (which I said I would do like 6 months ago), to getting a little cake.
We took the bus downtown to Denver and explored the city a little bit. This is Union Station. I think it looks so neat, especially at night.

We caught some dinner at Vesta Dipping Grill. It was highly recommended by several people, so we thought we would try it out. It was incredible.
