Matt graduated from Adams

One last thing before we leave...My youngest brother has graduated from high school. I must be getting seriously old. I never thought the day would come when I would be returning to Meadowbrook to see my third and final Adams graduation. It was surreal; same procession and the choir singing "Body Electric". Whatever my feelings were at the time upon reflecting on my own graduation, could never compare to how proud I was of him for finishing(despite coming home from lunch on several occasions to find Matt there saying he didn't feel like going to 1st hour. Wait a second it's 1:00, didn't school start several hours ago! :) )

Fishing out in the keys. The first catch of the day was, sadly, half eaten by a baracuda...wasn't quick enough. Good times though...

Here we are in Key West and we are both sick. Kinda sucks but it is beautiful here. Went to the southernmost point in the continental US. Very touristy, but we got a photo of us to remember it.

The first post

So call us crazy...but we went on a 10-day vacation prior to the big move. Alena's family had planned a huge get-together to celebrate a variety of birthdays, Alena's and Matt's graduations, and the fact that all four siblings have not been together in several years. Alena's mom rented a house in Islamorada that had 5 bedrooms, so we were ALL under one roof. Our journey begins with this trip.

Moving Day

Ah...the last day has finally come...goodbye wixom, hello colorado!




So we are temporarily living between places until our apartment out west is ready. We have things at both parents' houses and are living in Rochester for a week and then off to Kalamazoo for a week for the final staging.
