Just in case you're not sick of it yet...here's a cool little map from google. You'll notice that Colorado is leaning towards Barack...I'm proud to be part of that.

Barack-Star
We were there!! Click on the video to see what 100,000 people looks like.
Our day started with trying to get downtown via bus. The bus was 20 minutes late and completely full (it was coming from Boulder and full of college students). The bus driver said that another bus should be coming. We decided to just drive down to Denver on our own. After being told the lines were being cut-off, and lines that went nowhere.....we were 2 of 10,000 that got to go through secret service and become part of history. We couldn't really see Obama, BUT, how awesome to be among thousands of people

Ice and Snow
That's right, this morning was treacherous! I knew it was going to be cold(about 30 degrees, but they said it felt 25 degrees) but I wasn't expecting the weather I had. The cool think about my drive into work is that I drive through the mountains and it is beautiful, the bad thing is the mountains. It was extremely foggy this morning. As I was driving toward the mountains, the cars coming opposite me were covered in snow! I saw several cars flipped over and I heard it was due to the ice. They had several roads shut down. So not ready for winter.

I survived the 1st week of work!
I have never had such a busy week for just starting a job before. I can't even believe the things I did. I was literally all over CO.

Rocky Mountain National Park/Estes Park/Bear Lake
In Estes Park this weekend it was the Elk Fest! From what we heard, the elk are literally all over; walking the streets, all over the park. Did we see one? No. We went into the national park to hike to Bear Lake. It seems that we were having problems getting the whole group together so we ended up hiking another trail. Michael and I ended up getting separated from the group when we made a pitstop. Not knowing exactly where the group was, we decided the best thing to do was to follow the road back down to the car. IT POURED, rain and sleet. We did eventually meet up with the group again. It was wild, there were antlers everywhere.
Unfortunately, Michael got extremely sick. We were up all weekend trying to get him better.
